About the Choir

Originally formed in 1899 as the Halifax Madrigal Society, we are now a small choir of about 18 members, based around Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Daniel Bath is the Choir's twelfth conductor.

Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights, 7.45pm at Crossley Heath School, Savile Park, Halifax. We enjoy singing a wide range of music from Dowland and Byrd to Gerschwin and Taverner. (We are currently using these books).
